United Tribes' Jiles posts triple double in win at Lake Region
Thunderbirds hold off Royals 85-73 on the road

United Tribes freshman guard Nick Jiles recorded a triple double in the Thunderbirds' 85-73 road victory over Lake Region State College on Wednesday night in Devils Lake.
Jiles posted 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Thunderbirds improved 3-2 in Mon-Dak play and 12-7 overall. Jiles, a 6-foot-1 guard from Lakeland, Fla., made 7 of 14 shots. He also had two steals for the Thunderbirds, who had 24 assists in the game compared to only five turnovers.
Cecelio Montgomery led United Tribes in scoring with 21 points. Also reaching double figures for the Thunderbirds were Herb Augusitn with 16, Lane Johnson with 12, and Will Mesteth with 11.
United Tribes' hosts crosstown rival Bismarck State College on Monday at 5:30/7:30pm.
